We’re glad you’re interested in supporting our organization. You’ll join a vibrant and growing community of free-thinkers in South Florida!

As a paid member, you’ll be able to vote on issues concerning Florida Atheists and Secular Humanists, although membership is not required to attend weekly socials. Members also enjoy reduced rates for other events, such as lectures.

Having a voice for freethought is not free and we need your help. I will not ask you to “Give til it hurts”, but rather “Give til it feels good”. Your membership and donations are tax deductible and help us make YOUR voice of reason heard in the most effective ways.

Monthly Supporter

The most effective membership option is as a monthly supporter. Your $10 a month auto-deduction helps FLASH pay operating expenses and allows us to plan for future events. Your monthly donation makes you a member of FLASH and also will include your annual membership to American Atheists, two memberships at one location! If you decide to support FLASH by buying another brick, we will pay your annual membership for either Humanists of Florida, Freedom From religion Foundation, Americans United or ACLU.

 

Other Membership options
Individual membership fees are as follows:

  • $10.00 per month to be a monthly supporter
  • $45.00 per year for an individual
  • $40.00 per year for students and retirees
  • $50.00 per year for families (two adults and dependents under 25)
  • $1500 one time donation for lifetime membership

Our membership year begins on January 1. New memberships are prorated by quarter, so if you are joining in:

  • January – March, pay 100%
  • April – June, pay 75%
  • July – September, pay 50%
  • October – December, pay 25%

Any extra money you give FLASH will be considered a donation to the general fund. Once you are accepted as a member, you will be able to vote on all issues brought before the membership as soon as payment is received. Please be aware we only extend voting privileges to members 15 years and older.

We also offer a discount of $5.00 off the cost of membership, if you are also a paid member of American Atheists.

 

Your tax-deductible donation will be used to fund projects that increase the awareness of reason and truth in the South Florida community.
